CAPS ADMISSION
At Christian Academy for Practical Studies, admission of students is based on interest, conviction and need.
Our students are given the direction to choose from the options of one or more of the 5 arms of the Academy namely, School of Disciples, School of The Spirit, School of Ministry, School of Mentorship, and School of New Testament Greek.
Registration is compulsory for new intakes followed by the admission letter, and then the orientation for the students.
All desirous students are admitted into any of the Schools of their choice. The exception is considered only if the basic requirements for the admission under the Directorate of the Student Affairs Department is recommended.

CAPS CURRICULUM
The Curriculum of CAPS, considering the 5 arms of the institution is knitted or woven together under the specially designed system of the root (the materials), the branches (the students), and the fruits (the graduates). We consider the design and provision of direction, consistency, accountability, and assessments on the part of the students in the CAPS Curriculum. Both the teaching faculty and the
learning candidates are given the 100% attention in the way we produce our teaching materials and the way we teach them.
CAPS FACULTY
In CAPS, we achieve growth, improve performance, and increase yield by training
the teachers/lecturers before they are contracted. It is our tradition to call back
and make use of the outgoing/outgone students/graduates to teach at all our
programs or studies. This will preserve the levels of discipline, diligence and
determination that becomes the 3 pillars of the institution.
CAPS RULES
The rule of registration is compulsory for all bona fide students. In the School of Ministry, School of The Spirit, School of Mentoring, and School of Disciples, all student are expected to register their online entry in order to create awareness for the lecturer to confirm online presence for the student register.
The Rule of The Chapel is a very important rule among the rest. The Chapel is the
communion and fellowship place for every Student. It is also the spiritual life
center for the students to actualize true intimacy. This is compulsory for the
students to participate daily at every point of lecture.
The Schools operate (designs, package and deliver) real-time online practical and
knowledge-based teachings. Continuous Assessment is based on merits from
practicum, drill question (quickie) and assignment. Periodic examinations and
tests are parts of the school’s pathway to the award of excellence.
The student are expected observe the 5 rules of the class religiously. This includes
1. concentrated response during class,
2. openness to lectures,
3. obedient to lecturers,
4. resilient note-taking
5. question-asking. This takes a special score in
the continuous assessment test of the school.
The class rule is being enforced
among the students by the class representative (batch officer/captain).
At CAPS, zero tolerance on students’ indiscipline or academic laziness is been
enforced. The lifestyle of a lifelong learner is crucial to all our studies and the
student takes an oath (the self-prayer oath): “My 3D is a must. I must give it the
first place. God help me.” The 3D of academics is Determination, Discipline and
Diligence, Discipline is an outstanding rule.
